North Eastern Counties Cross Country Championship

NECAA Cross Country Championships 2019 Alnwick

In Running by Stuart Whitman

After a twenty five year absence the North Eastern Counties returned to Alnwick for the annual cross country championship. High winds made for freezing temperatures in the low winter sun.

Carl Avery (Morpeth Harriers) won the Wilkinson Sword for the first time and Sonia Samuels (Sale Harriers) won the womens race twenty five years after lifting the under 17 trophy at Alwnick.
