A warm day welcomed runners to Sunderland Harriers’ Farringdon Cross Country Races for the annual opening event of the season. A 1.8 mile undulating course on common land behind Farringdon Community Academy and adjacent to Silksworth Road.

Morpeth Harriers A teams won both the senior men and women. In the vets races South Shields Harriers A team won the womens race with Sunderland Harriers men winning at their home event.
