The fourth round of the North East Grand Prix series took place at Monkton Stadium, under stormy skies but conditions stayed dry for most most of the evening and over half of the competitors posted new pb's.

Jessie Davison, North Shields Polytechnic, High Jump. 
Zac Brannon, North Shields Poly, Peter Grimoldby, Gateshead Harriers and Dylan Wilson, Darlington H & AC sprint for the line in Heat 3, 800m.
Storm clouds pass over Monkton Stadium as the leading trio in the 3000m are on the final lap.
